Now that framing, apart from some minor changes here and there, is done, it was on to plumbing! This was the main thing done this week. The framers made up a bunch of time since they went so fast, so the plumber was the only guy on the schedule. Pretty much all the pipes in the house were replaced. With the exception of one bathroom that has recently been refinished, it’s all new.

We have nice new shiny copper pipes running around the crawlspace to the new master bathroom. You can see above we are putting in a double vanity. Lex and I share a lot things, but the same bathroom sink? Oh hell no.

We could pretty much see everything in the new master bathroom except where the pipes for the bath were. Our builder informed us they don’t pull those through the until the bathroom is done and they are hooking up the bathtub.

We are rather understated in the shower. The builder was talking about having a rain shower, a handheld, and body sprays. It was way too much, so we have just the single shower head. As long as it is hot and wet (giggidy), we’re happy.

That stand is actually going to be a dog shower in laundy room (you can see the washing machine pipes to the right of it. This is going to act as dog shower/utility sink/random tiled place we can drop wet crap. It’s going to be awesome.
Quick note on some of the floors as these photos show it better than the last post. The framer was great. Where he took up the old original subfloor he kept and tried to reuse. So he was telling us how it was just like a big puzzle trying to get it to all fit together again. Except he could just cut pieces that didn’t fit and force them to, which I think is a good lesson.
That was pretty much all that happened the week of plumbing. The following week was electrical which should follow shortly.
